This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) explains how Pyrite Science (“Pyrite Science,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes, packages, and ships orders placed through www.pyritescience.com (the “Website”). This Policy forms part of our Terms of Use. By placing an order through our Website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within one (1) to three (3) business days after payment has been successfully authorized.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During periods of high demand, promotional events, severe weather, supply chain disruptions, or when additional verification is required, processing times may be extended. If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Once shipped, most domestic orders arrive within three (3) to seven (7) business days, depending on your location, carrier, and selected shipping service.

Delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Pyrite Science is not responsible for carrier delays or delivery dates beyond our control.

3. Shipping Carriers

We ship using trusted carriers, including:

  • United States Postal Service (USPS)

  • United Parcel Service (UPS)

We may also use other reputable shipping providers when appropriate. Carrier selection is determined at our discretion based on destination, package contents, and service availability.

4. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship only within the United States, including the District of Columbia.

We do not ship internationally or to:

  • U.S. territories

  • APO/FPO/DPO addresses

  • Freight forwarding companies

  • Third-party reshipping services

Orders destined for prohibited locations may be canceled prior to shipment.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, and receipt of our products comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

5. Shipping Rates

Standard shipping is available for a flat rate of $10.00 per order.

Orders with a merchandise subtotal of $200.00 or more qualify for free standard shipping.

Free shipping applies only to qualifying merchandise totals after discounts and excludes taxes or additional fees.

Shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law or specifically stated in our Returns & Refund Policy.

6. Packaging

All products are packaged using materials designed to help maintain product integrity during normal transit.

Orders are shipped in plain, discreet packaging without external markings identifying the contents.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to the address used during checkout.

Tracking information generally becomes available within 24 hours, although carrier scan times may vary.

If you have not received tracking information within five (5) business days after placing your order, please contact support@pyritescience.com.

8. Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Pyrite Science is not responsible for delays, returned shipments, or lost packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.

If a shipment must be resent due to an address error, additional shipping charges may apply.

If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact support@pyritescience.com immediately. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request, address changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

9. Risk of Loss & Carrier Delays

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment has been delivered to the shipping carrier.

After a package has been accepted by the carrier, Pyrite Science is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Carrier operational issues

  • Labor disruptions

  • Public emergencies

  • Government actions

  • Any circumstance beyond our reasonable control

Carrier delays alone do not qualify for refunds, replacements, or store credit.

10. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the recipient.

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, we recommend that you:

  • Check around your delivery location.

  • Ask neighbors or household members.

  • Verify the shipping address on your order.

  • Wait 24–48 hours, as carriers occasionally mark deliveries early.

  • Contact the shipping carrier directly.

  • File a police report if theft is suspected.

While we are happy to assist with carrier documentation when possible, we cannot guarantee reimbursement or replacement for packages confirmed as delivered.

11. Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives damaged, please contact support@pyritescience.com within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery time.

Please include:

  • Your order number.

  • Clear photographs of the shipping box.

  • Photos of the shipping label.

  • Photos of the damaged product(s).

  • A brief description of the damage.

Damage claims are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy. Claims submitted after 48 hours or without adequate documentation may be denied.

12. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

Orders refused by the recipient or returned as undeliverable are not eligible for refunds.

Where a shipment is successfully returned to us, we may, at our sole discretion, issue store credit for the product value less any shipping, processing, or return costs incurred.

Any reshipment will require payment of additional shipping charges.

13. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before they have been processed for shipment.

Once an order enters fulfillment or has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

To request a cancellation, please contact support@pyritescience.com as soon as possible. Although we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

14. Policy Updates

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time.

Any revisions will be posted on this page together with an updated Last Updated date. Continued use of our Website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
